Croes, Grand Chancellor Before the Netherlands

Edgar Alexander Croes serves as Grand Chancellor of Mandatum before the Kingdom of the Netherlands, leading the Order's relations with the Dutch authorities, Aruba, Curaçao and Sint Maarten.

Mandatum, the ORDO SUPREMUS PRO CAUSIS HUMANITARIIS, recognizes Edgar Alexander Croes as its Grand Chancellor before the Kingdom of the Netherlands. In this role he represents the Order before the Dutch authorities and the countries of the Kingdom in the Caribbean, building the relationships that allow Mandatum's humanitarian work to grow in the region.

The Order's voice before the Kingdom

As Grand Chancellor, Croes is responsible for the Order's institutional dialogue with the Kingdom of the Netherlands, including Aruba, Curaçao and Sint Maarten. His task is to present Mandatum's mission and projects clearly, to understand the priorities of each government and to make sure that every initiative respects local institutions and culture.

His work has already been decisive for the Order. He gave his fundamental support to the articulation of the UNASDG project led by the Procurator for Government Liaison, Honorable Knight Alfred Michael Glenn Williams, helping to bring together the institutional ties that made it possible.

A career in banking and systems

Croes built his professional career in the banking sector, specializing in information systems. This experience gives him a deep understanding of how financial institutions work, as well as a strong sense of order, security and precision in the management of information.

These qualities are especially valuable for a humanitarian order. Transparent processes, reliable records and secure systems are the foundation of the trust that governments, partners and communities place in Mandatum's projects.

Four languages, one message

Croes speaks Dutch, Spanish, English and Papiamento, the language of Aruba. This command of languages allows him to move naturally between the institutions of the Netherlands, the Caribbean islands of the Kingdom and the Spanish-speaking world, carrying the Order's message to each audience in its own language.
